Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility
Diversity is valued and demonstrated within the Canadian Center for Vaccinology when a wide breadth of differences in people, ideas, perspectives, and experiences is respected, affirmed, and actively supported.
The inclusion of individuals, social groups and communities who identify with one or more elements of diversity (e.g., gender, age, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, health status, ability-disability, income, health literacy, religion-spirituality, geography, and language) enriches environments. It enables an appreciation and respect for the complexity of societal members’ lived experiences.
A collaboration of Dalhousie University, IWK Health, and Nova Scotia Health, we are dedicated to upholding the standards of our institutional partners.
